The first time I heard PAWS, I paused whatever it was that I was doing and thought, “Who is that?” This Glasgow based pop-rock band has been turning heads with their DIY, lo-fi sound; they’ve played anywhere from bathrooms and double decker buses to the upcoming SXSW festival. “Sore Tummy”, the single off their latest album, Cokefloat, mixes bright sarcasm with a tinge of melancholy. It has a poignant coming-of-age vibe with its personal and open lyrics, and it’s worth checking out for yourself.
